Aisling Bea

Aisling B a is born on on 16 March 1984 in Kildare Ireland. She appeared on QI alongside Stephen Fry. Aisling O'Sullivan, better than her stage name Aisling Bea (born March 16, 1984), is an Irish actor, writer and stand-up comic. After playing bits on a number of Irish and British television shows since 2009 Bea began her stand-up comedian in 2011. In 2012, she was frequently performing on sketch comedy shows as well as sitcoms. The actress began to appear regularly in panel shows following her win of an award for in the Edinburgh Comedy Awards. She's been part of 8 Out of 10 Cats since 2016 and she is one of the most popular contestants on the show's sequel 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. She was the child of Brian O'Sullivan as well as Helen O'Sullivan. Sinead is her younger sister. In 2012 she became the only woman in history to win the So You Believe you're Funny award. The surname of Bea is in honor of her late father. Aisling O'Sullivan, also known as Cliodhnadh Aisling was born in Kildare town in County Kildare. The father of her Brian was an equine veterinarian who died at the age of three. Bea was three years old. She wasn't told about the cause of his death until she was thirteen. She adopted the stage name Bea in honor of her father. She also published an article in The Guardian in 2017 about her family's experience of suicide. Bea's mom Helen, who is also a jockey-trainer and former pro jockey was responsible for taking care of her as well as Sinead. The family was awed by horses, races as well as the race industry. Bea was a guide for her family's involvement at the Irish National Stud in her beginning teens. But she was aware it wasn't something she wanted to pursue for a living and that she was more interested in to perform.
